Quantify or Die

In my article last week, I wrote about how Dr. V has published several reviews of periodization. This is one quote from that last article that hits hard;

"The ultimate aim of the training must be established first.... it is here necessary to emphasize that its novelty and its great practical value are due to:

a. the possibility to express the ultimate aim in terms of quantity

b. the existence of objective criteria that determine the selection of the training means and methods

c. the possiblity to monitor these results in terms of quantity"

So we are left to ask ourselves - what if we can't quantify our program?
