The narrower the perspective the more assured the holder is that they possess a complete point of view.

The broader the perspective, the more the more the holder is assured they have an incomplete point of view.

Statistics is just this and understanding the qualitative factors which dictate quantitative measures is a foundational element that must not be overlooked, undervalued, or ignored.
